Listen to Empower Her Wellness
About Joyce Fidler
Joyce Fidler is a first-time writer of the memoir, Evolution of a Baby Boomer: Life Beyond Sex, Drugs & Rock ‘n’ Roll whose previous compositions included songs for her 80s new wave bands (who opened for the Go-Go’s and Meatloaf). Her foray into writing comes after a busy life as co-owner of a record store/headshop, singer with a video on MTV (to a song she wrote), university communications instructor, secondary special educator, and actor. She wrote a one-woman show, Evolution of a Pisces Baby Boomer which she staged to full houses 5 times at 3 Los Angeles theatres before the Covid pandemic.
An Army brat who’s lived in Germany, Japan and around the U.S., Joyce and her hot husband live in Los Angeles where they recently celebrated 25 years of marriage- a personal best. Her grown daughters (who both survived her lousy parenting) are thriving in LA and Australia with their beautiful families. Joyce has a BA from Purdue in Speech Education and Theatre, an MS in Radio-Television from Butler, and Special Education credential from Cal State Northridge.
